Amy D. Boggs, Esq.
Founder & CEO | Florida Property Insurance & Property Litigation Attorney
Amy D. Boggs is the founder and CEO of Boggs Law Group, where she has dedicated her practice to protecting the rights of Florida policyholders and property owners. She represents homeowners, business owners, and condominium associations in complex property insurance disputes and property-related litigation throughout Florida.
Amy founded Boggs Law Group in 2010 with a clear vision: to create a law firm where every client matters and every case receives the personal attention it deserves. After practicing at larger law firms, she recognized the need for a more individualized approach to legal representation. She built Boggs Law Group around that philosophy, combining experienced advocacy with personalized client service and a commitment to protecting policyholder rights.
Amy’s path to policyholder advocacy began early in her legal career. After graduating with honors from Stetson University College of Law, where she was Salutatorian and a member of the Stetson Law Review, Amy began practicing insurance defense and general litigation with Carlton Fields. That experience provided valuable insight into insurance litigation and ultimately helped shape her decision to dedicate her practice to representing policyholders. She later joined Merlin Law Group, where she represented policyholders in first-party property insurance and agent negligence matters before founding Boggs Law Group.
Beyond representing individual clients, Amy is passionate about educating and advocating for Florida policyholders and community associations. She has testified before Florida legislative committees on property insurance issues, spoken at industry conferences and seminars, authored articles on insurance and property damage matters, and provided commentary to media outlets covering issues affecting Florida property owners.
Her commitment to condominium associations is an important part of that advocacy. Through legal representation, education, writing, speaking engagements, and industry involvement, Amy works to help association leaders better understand property insurance issues and protect the communities they serve.
Amy’s belief in advocacy extends beyond her legal practice. Inspired by the pioneering women and mentors who helped create opportunities throughout her own career, she believes strongly in encouraging and mentoring others to recognize their talents and reach their potential.
Amy and her husband, attorney Scott Boggs, have five adult children. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and life with their dogs and cats.
