Benjamin L. Berkowitz is an attorney with Boggs Law Group who represents Florida policyholders and property owners in property insurance disputes and property-related litigation. His practice is focused on protecting policyholder rights and helping homeowners, business owners, and condominium associations navigate complex property damage claims and disputes.

Ben joined Boggs Law Group as an associate attorney in the summer of 2022 after beginning his career with the firm as a law clerk in the fall of 2021. His experience with the firm from law clerk to attorney provided him with a strong foundation in property insurance law and an understanding of the challenges policyholders can face following significant property damage.

Ben brings a client-focused approach to his practice and is committed to helping clients understand their rights and legal options throughout the claims and litigation process. His work includes first-party property insurance disputes and construction-related property damage matters involving a property insurance component.

A Florida native, Ben grew up in Sarasota and has strong ties to the Suncoast. He attended Florida State University, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a minor in Communications in 2016. He later returned to Florida State University College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2021 as a recipient of the Garnet & Gold Law Scholarship.

As a proud “double Nole,” Ben remains an avid Florida State Seminoles fan. Growing up around his father’s cabinet shop also gave him an appreciation for building, craftsmanship, and working with his hands. Outside the office, Ben enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors with his dog and family, and skiing whenever he gets the opportunity.
